Hopeful....

So I reduced the Paisley cane today (half way through writing the post just waiting on the pictures) and am ready to start on putting together the polymer clay 'fabric' to coat the cake forks with. I have talked to my husband before about my lack of skill at cutting even slices from canes and shown him a picture of some of the cane cutting tools you can buy (in America but not easily in the UK of course). He said, "I am off to play in the garage, don't start cutting yet!" and was gone. I am hoping he is inventing me a cane slicing aid. I will let you know the outcome and will get the pictures of the now small Paisley cane uploaded.
